An all-new chapter in Lexus' evolution begins with the 2026 Lexus ES. This luxury sedan is reimagined with a sleeker, more expressive exterior and a roomier, more welcoming cabin. However, beneath its stylish outer shell is a revolutionary powertrain. The ES is the first Lexus core model to be offered with both hybrid and electric (BEV) powertrains, and it's coming soon to Lexus of Serramonte in Colma, CA.
Stylish, Elegant Exterior
The first thing you'll notice about the new Lexus ES is its bold yet refined exterior. Using the groundbreaking design concept of "Clean Tech x Elegance", Lexus crafts the ES with proportions and styling cues that meld into a simple, clean aesthetic. Its refreshed Spindle grille and Twin L-Signature lamps announce your arrival at any destination in the Bay Area.
Lavish, Relaxing Interior
Yet the new Lexus ES is not just a pretty face – what's inside is equally inspiring. Lexus lengthened the ES to provide more space for drivers and passengers to relax in comfort. Its openly arranged interior has a more stately, minimalist look and a more driver-focused cockpit. Premium synthetic leather upholstery and natural trim materials paired with ambient lighting create an inviting cabin experience.
Leading-Edge Technology
Lexus continues to lead the luxury sedan segment with pioneering in-car technology. The ES's new 14-inch touchscreen display comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility for effortless connectivity to your smartphone apps. The Lexus Interface multimedia system also includes split-screen capability and improved voice control. A Mark Levinson® Surround Sound System provides a concert-like soundtrack on your commutes to San Francisco.
Innovative Hybrid and Electric Powertrain Options
One of the biggest transformations for the new Lexus ES is its revised powertrains. Most models use a hybrid powertrain consisting of a four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor that combine for 243 horsepower. This provides greater fuel efficiency without compromising acceleration. The new ES still has the quiet, pampering ride you expect from the brand, while also injecting more pure driving pleasure. The ES' first-ever multi-link rear suspension keeps the car poised around curves in Daly City.
For an even eco-friendlier option, the fully electric 2026 Lexus ES EV will be our first-ever zero-emission ES model. Available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, this sedan's powertrain will produce 220 to 338 horsepower for nearly instantaneous acceleration. It will also offer an estimated 300 miles of driving range per charge in front-wheel drive models.
