Each year, experts and enthusiasts gather to experience the latest in automotive advancement from a variety of popular carmakers. February 2020 brought an exciting lineup of over 18 show cars, as well as charitable works from Lexus. As your local Bay Area Lexus dealer, the experts here at Lexus of Serramonte can't wait to share the outcome of this exciting annual event.

The Lexus Lineup on Display

The showroom floor of the 2020 Chicago Auto Show featured, perhaps most excitingly, the debut of the 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible in a new color known as Flare Yellow. This vehicle is a performance-oriented coupe featuring a 5.0-liter V8 engine and 10-speed transmission capable of producing up to 471-horsepower. The same model also appeared flanked by gold ribbons, the symbol for pediatric cancer, as a charitable outreach for the local Cal's Angels childhood cancer foundation that supports patients and research initiatives.

While the convertible lineup worked for charitable donations, the 2020 Lexus SUVs on display gave current customers an up-close look at the latest innovations in the lineup. The Lexus RX and Lexus RXL made an appearance, showing drivers the updates to the infotainment system and integration of Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and Amazon Alexa.

A Successful Debut of Key Models

Lexus used this year's show as a chance to show off its long history of making high-quality racing vehicles. The 18-model lineup offered up popular models like the Lexus RC F GT3 show car, among other impressive models spanning in racetrack capability.

The annual Chicago Auto Show is a great chance for Lexus lovers to get the inside scoop about the future of the brand and see the excellence of this high-performing luxury model up close and personal. We'll be looking forward to next year here at Lexus of Serramonte, the Elite of Lexus award-winning dealership serving the Bay Area.
